Fatali Talks Psytrance & his Journey!, Exclusive Interview on his recent India Tour

Fatali is the first and most well-known moniker for psytrance producer born Eitan Carmi, he kick-started his career with a highly acclaimed debut album at the age of only 18. his early music was a superb combination of Melodies & FullOn Psychedelic Trance,

Thanks to an outstanding creative energy he managed to re-invent his style release by release, little by little making a transition from Psytrance to Progressive Trance. its was a A progressive transition. In 2013 one of the most influential Progressive psy trance producers and dj from Israel has arrived at the next level of his musical evolution, breaking new grounds.

  • Today we have Fatali from Israel. First of all Fatali, this was a very great gig with all the energy you brought from Israel. So tell me, how are you feeling right now?

Feeling very good, it’s been quite a while since I came, so it’s good to come back.

  • How do you feel Psychedelic trance is growing in India?

It has grown a lot in recent years. I remember first time I came was 10 years ago. It has changed a lot and developed a lot since then. It’s getting really big. Just a matter of time it will be discovered even more.

  • How did your journey started in Psytrance music?

I was 13 years old, playing with sounds, until I started to spread my music with DJs all around. I got an offer from UK in 2003. And since then it has been exploded globally.

  • What sounds inspire you?

It doesn’t necessarily have to be a specific sound or an artist. It can be anything like experiences in my life, which I would like to transform into music. It can be a beautiful sunset or something I feel or just imagining what would be the perfect music I would like to hear – when I’m in a sunrise in a festival or open air and like that.

  • Which are the current projects you are working on and can we get a sneak peek into it?

I’ve got couple of projects but lately I have been focusing really hard on Fatali – which was, is and always will be my main project. It’s part of me actually, it’s me! I just released a brand new single – 2-track single on 21st. hopefully it’s time to work on the seventh album, it’s about time.

  • What do you think about the current psy music scene in Israel, India and all over the globe?

It’s exploding everywhere. You can see that many parties are really getting big, really commercial and well-organized, which is a good thing. At the end we would like to have as many parties as we can, so that more people can be exposed to this kind of music, which has been Underground for so many years.

  • Eitan do make people aware about beauty of psy music.

I think it would be a waste of life 😉 without experiencing this genre of music.

  • Any Message for your Trance for Infinity fans in India?

Keep on smiling  🙂 , have fun, spread the light and for sure we’ll meet again and have a good time. Happy New Year! Thank You, Namaste!
